Perhaps there is yet hope for the future

Organic farming methods can produce yields comparable to current unsustainable practices.

And we may have a means of truly sustainable energy at our disposal.

    Yeah, but it was pretty feeble by the time it echoed down to where we were. Something around a 2 or 3.

    What I felt was nothing compared to the 5 that hit near my house when I first came to Japan. Thats when the earth below you suddenly becomes a roller coaster.

    Too bad for the folks in Niigata though, they seem to be attracting earthquakes like a magnet.
